To some, the struggle to overcome a particular sin in their life is a life long struggle. For example, at a very immature and early age they become addicted to a particular sin; they participated in that sin for years and then they began to question their participation and they set out to overcome it. During their quest against this particular sin they had many victories but every now and again, they fell victim to the sin. This reversal (or revisiting of this addictive sin) caused them much grief, devastating them. They cried, they mourned, they prayed and then the victories started mounting up, but then again, they re-visit it. That’s the nature of an addictive sin; the fight really never ends.
